OCC Kids Advent Service

On December 13th, 2020, our OCC Kids participated in our Kids Christmas Takeover, during both services.

At Oviedo City Church we feel that it is important for our children to take part in our Worship Service. In order for us to "train up our children up the way they should go" (Proverbs 22:6), we first need to model for them what worship looks like. This is why every weekend, our grade school children remain in the sanctuary with their families during the first half of each worship service. They are then dismissed with their teachers for a time of fellowship and digging into God's word.

During the Kid's Advent Service, our children told the Christmas Story in their own words. As the children narrated their version of what happened, the OCC Kids team acted out their story. If you missed it, or would like to watch it again, you can view it above. It was so sweet to see what creative minds these kids have.

The OCC Kids also participated in a music video that was presented during our Kid's Weekend. It was filmed "Covid" style. These kids rehearsed every week for a month to prepare themselves for this amazing experience. We love having the opportunity to invite the kids to be part of our worship team. Jesus wants the kids to come to him, and so do we!
