OCC Institute Forum: Identity, Gender, and Sexuality
Our second OCC Institute Forum of 2023 dealt with the very relevant topic of Identity, Gender, and Sexuality. We had three speakers from the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics speak to on these topics.
Sara Stevenson, Ben Thomas, and Charlie Styles did an amazing job of helping us navigate these difficult subjects with grace and truth.
Sara spoke on Friday night, preached on Sunday morning, and helped us understand the posture of invitation instead of condemnation.
Ben spoke out of his experience as a same-sex attracted man who has decided to live a celibate life to follow Jesus.
And Charlie helped us to see how the church can more effectively care for and love people while also calling them to radical holiness.
We are very excited about our continued partnership with the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics, and the Forums we will have with them in the future.
